Why is clipping path used more than image masking?


                                             The difference between clipping and masking

clippingpath means to separate unwanted objects from the background and to show the product to the customer so that it looks more appealing.

It is a photoshop tool used to eliminate the background of an image.it helps smooth out edges from the image it is very cost-efficient .it is used to highly improve the clarity of the image.it helps draw a path around the item in the shape you want.this is a basic photoshop skill and everyone should learn it.

On the other hand image masking is also a photoshop tool that is similar to clipping path but only used when the image has a lot of fuzzy or hairy parts .for example fur or hair of a model these parts are too small to clip that's why we use image masking to remove background or edit these parts.

Both Skills have there own benefits but clipping path is used more because it is easier and time beneficial
