Photoshop drop shadow is an additional tracing around the hard-edged objects with the pen tool to isolate it from the background. It is a method to create an artificial shadow that looks natural to the eye. Steps to create a drop shadow- 1. Open an image in Photoshop. Just go to the File menu on the top left corner and click open and select an image. Using a transparent image works best. Yes, pictures can be photo shopped to such a degree that it would become very hard to tell if its photo shopped or not. When you Photoshop a picture you are basically manipulating it. Sometimes you are merging the original photo with fake photos. here is the biggest trick that is to Photoshop. not all camera click the same quality photo. if the merged image quality and the real image quality differ then it becomes quite easy to tell the difference but if the quality is very close or the same then it becomes almost impossible to tell the difference. Then there is color correction, shading, drop shadows, etc. these effects make the fake photo turn into a real photo and thus people can't tell the difference between a photo shopped pic and a real picture.
